A tragic bus accident occurred in Nepal on August 23, 2024, resulting in the deaths of at least 14 people. The bus, carrying passengers from India, plunged into a river in the western part of the country. Rescue efforts were immediately launched, but the steep terrain and swift currents made the operation challenging.


Several people were injured and rushed to nearby hospitals. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which is believed to be a result of driver error or mechanical failure.
