As the current Vice President of the United States, Harris has made history as the first female vice president, the first African American vice president, and the first Asian American vice president ¹.


Some of her notable policies include stricter gun control laws, the DREAM Act, federal legalization of cannabis, and healthcare and taxation reforms ¹. Harris has also been a strong advocate for environmental protection, securing multiple multi-million-dollar settlements with fuel service companies to resolve allegations of hazardous materials handling ¹.
