Rajasthan Royals continued their winning streak at home, defeating Delhi Capitals by 12 runs in a thrilling encounter on March 28th, 2024. The match, played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, witnessed some brilliant individual performances and intense cricketing action.


Batting first, Rajasthan Royals posted a competitive total of 185 runs on the board. The young Riyan Parag emerged as the star for the Royals, scoring an unbeaten 84 runs off just 47 balls. His knock provided much-needed impetus to the Rajasthan innings after early setbacks.

Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals got off to a decent start with contributions from David Warner and Rishabh Pant. However, they were unable to capitalize on those starts and lost wickets at regular intervals. The Rajasthan bowling attack, spearheaded by Trent Boult's crucial wickets, kept the pressure on the Delhi batsmen throughout the innings.

Despite a late fightback from Tristan Stubbs, Delhi Capitals fell short of the target by 12 runs. Riyan Parag's match-winning knock and some tight bowling by the Rajasthan pacers were instrumental in their victory. This win also maintained the remarkable trend of home teams winning all the IPL matches played so far this season.
